Lincolnshire police are investigating a collision where a woman reportedly let go off a pushchair and let it roll into the path of a lorry in Kirton.

The pushchair was hit on the A16 on Monday (5th January).

Officers say ‘a white or pink bundle’ flew up in the air.

Witnesses believed it to be a baby, but after extensive searches, no baby was found.

Detectives are now appealing for anyone who was travelling along the A16 on Station Road and saw the incident to contact them.

Officers have since spoken to the woman, but inquiries are ongoing.
