The election campaign is entering its final few days.

People will be heading to polling stations across the country next Thursday to vote.

Grimsby is a key battleground after switching to the Conservatives in 2019 for the first time since the second world war.

However there have been boundary changes and the new constituency is called Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

A lot of the shops have closed down

We've spoken to people there about what they'd like to see improved in their area.

Here are a selection of their comments.

"I'd say probably say entertainment and things to do for younger people especially teens because it would reduce the amount of petty crime."

"Probably the roads - they're always closing the roads."

"Facilities here - a lot of the shops have closed down - Cleethorpes, a lot of the attractions have gone - Pleasure Island that's all gone.

"It would be better to have more public transport and stuff like that - maybe clean up the town a bit."

They just seem to be going back to the old discussions

"We want some nice fancy restaurants here - it's too dead."

"The road quality and traffic control - it's quite crazy and the roads can be very bumpy and they're bad quality."

One other issue was politics itself and the lack of interest in it..

One woman said to us: "I think it's something that should be taught more to younger people because growing up especially in school I understood we had an election but I didn't understand why my vote would be important."

Another said: "They just seem to be going back to the old discussions and it's like no - let's move on - let's look forward not backwards."
