Five teenagers arrested following reports of disorder in Lincoln

Five teenagers have been arrested in connection with an incident in the Moorland area of Lincoln.

Officers were called out to a report that people were armed with bats and other weapons at Lake view road on Saturday night (11th May) and were causing damage to a property.

It's also believed a person had been assaulted.

A man in his 20's was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

Police say they are keeping an open mind about the circumstances of the incident but say they believe those involved are known to each other.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of class B drugs

A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent

Two 16-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of class B drugs.

All five have been released on police bail while investigations continue.

Lincolnshire Police have said:

"We know that there will be lots of speculation about this incident locally, including talking about the people involved.

"We would remind people that it is an offence to identify anyone under the age of 18 involved in criminal proceedings.

"Our officers will now investigate the circumstances of this case, which will include further conversations with local residents and other enquiries in the neighbourhood.
