A man has been charged in connection with an assault in Skegness

A man has been charged with four criminal offences after an incident in Skegness.

On Friday 24 May Police were alerted to reports of an assault on a woman on Grand Parade in Skegness and officers were dispatched to the scene.

A man was subsequently arrested in connection with this incident and, following investigations by the East Lindsey Response Investigation Team, was yesterday charged with several offences.

He is 50-year-old Troy Jenkins, of Glentworth Crescent in Skegness, and he has been charged with:

One count of assault ABH

Two counts of assault on an emergency worker

One count of racially aggravated S.4a Public order

Jenkins has been remanded into custody and will appear at Lincoln magistrates court on Monday 27 May.
