There could be a whole NEW way to upload to Instagram

Since it was launched eight years ago, Instagram has gone from strength to strength, with recent new additions such as Instagram TV and adding a soundtrack to your Stories. However, now there could be a whole NEW different way to upload photos and videos to the image social networking site.

A new product called an INSTA_RING is getting a lot of interest on Kickstarter. The product, which is currently looking for backing from the public, shows a ring which contains a high quality 12 mega pixel photo camera, which links to your phone via an app.

It has 32GB flash storage memory, so it's always ready for action, meaning you'll never miss an opportunity for the perfect Instagram photo! Despite being such a tiny product, it also has a wide-angle camera allowing it to take the highest quality photos. Amazingly, the future makers of the INSTA_RING say it will also be water resistant up to 50 metres and also shock resistant!

If the makers of INSTA_RING get the backing they need, they are planning for the first deliveries to be February next year, with further deliveries in March - depending on how much you've pledged. Early supporters for this new product could have pledged around £53 ($69), allowing them to get one ring with a choice of colour and size - saving a lot on the RRP of $149.

This year alone, we have seen a number of changes to Instagram. Back in July we had the introduction of adding a soundtrack to your Instagram Stories. This change allowed users to create an Instagram Story and add well-known music to it in the form of a sticker.
