Yes, you heard us right. It is a sad time for Tango Ice Blast fans, as the world's second largest cinema chain Cineworld have made the heart-aching decision to STOP selling the delicious icy drink. Fans of the Ice Blasts, however, aren't going down without a fight!

The chain has opted to switch out the iconic icy bev for an 'Icee', which is essentially Vimto's version of the drink. Despite the cool beverage reportedly tasting very similar, fans are not so convinced, with Facebook page 'Keep Tango Ice Blast In Cineworld' saying feedback is NOT good.

Even launching a petition to revoke the change, the page wrote, 'It turns out it's something called Icee that is starting to replace Tango Ice Blast at Cineworld Cinemas and feedback is it's not good! Let's fight to keep sipping on Tango Ice Blast at Cineworld, sign the petition here - https://bit.ly/2W7Edbo #BringBackTangoIceBlast! 🥤🚀' sic.

And it's safe to say that fans are livid about the (very serious) situation, with one commenting, 'I literally cannot explain how much I enjoy and love them and if they ever left me I might cry' sic, and another writing, 'If you get rid of ice blasts there’s no point going to the cinema.. that’s all I go for so byeeeee cinema 🤷🏼‍♀️💖' sic.

One fan even referred to the switch as a 'travesty', with another saying it was 'like 80% of our cinema experience'.

A spokesperson for Tango spoke to LADbible, saying, "Unfortunately Cineworld have made the decision that they will no longer sell Tango Ice Blast moving forward. As a proud family business, we are disappointed but accept their decision."

Offering a slice of relief to angered fans, he then added, "Fans of Tango Ice Blast will still be able to find us in Vue, Odeon, Empire, Showcase, Reel and many independent cinemas."
