Government champions Lancashire business as part of economy growth plan

Minister for Services, Small Businesses and Exports has highlighted Inciner8's global success.

The Government say that a Lancashire business is laying the footprint for other small businesses and growth in the economy.

It comes as Minister for Services, Small Businesses and Exports Gareth Thomas MP officially opens new manufacturing facility in West Lancashire.

The new Inciner8 site in Burscough is expected to bring over 50 new jobs grow the North West’s industrial sector.

Inciner8 is a global leader in waste management incineration solutions with clients in over 170 countries, driving the future of responsible waste disposal worldwide.

The majority of sales (98 per cent) come from international markets with clients in over 170 countries.

Their clients include the United Nations, WHO, NGOs, and various government bodies with Inciner8’s solutions often used in humanitarian efforts, crisis zones, and regions with limited waste management infrastructure.

Gareth Thomas, Minister for Small Businesses and Exports said: "It’s fantastic to see a small business like Inciner8 exporting around the world, growing their business, and supporting the regional and wider economy.

“We know that when smaller businesses export, the whole economy benefits, and that is why we want to help more small businesses export and export to more markets as part of our Plan for Change.”

Inciner8’s CEO, Darren Spencer, said: “The opening of our new headquarters marks a pivotal moment for Inciner8.

"It was truly an honour to have had so many colleagues, customers, suppliers, and business partners, as well as our distinguished guests, including local dignitaries, our MP, and Minister Gareth Thomas, attending our official opening event.

The new HQ was opened by Gareth Thomas MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Minister for Services, Small Businesses, and Exports) at the Department for Business and Trade. It positions Inciner8 at the forefront of innovation, sustainability, and enhanced customer service as it scales operations to meet increasing global demand.
