Cannabis grow found in Accrington

Officer say they've seized around 150 plants

Lancashire Police are investigating following the discovery of a cannabis grow in Accrington.

Officers were called to the Spring Street area on Thursday following reports of what's being described as suspicious circumstances.

Officers entered the building and discovered around 150 cannabis plants spread across the property, all of which have been seized.

There was also evidence that the electricity had been bypassed and Electricity North West attended to make the area safe.

At this time, no arrests have been made and investigation is underway.
