Four men arrested after violent altercation involving van and car in Darenth

There were reports of a passenger on a motorbike, holding a weapon

Investigators are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a violent altercation involving motorists in Darenth.

The incident, involving the occupants of a white van and two people on a motorcycle, happened in Green Street Green Road at around 8pm on Saturday 3 May 2025.

A member of the public reported seeing both vehicles driving dangerously with the pillion passenger on the bike allegedly holding a weapon. It is thought the van and motorcycle may have continued travelling towards Longfield.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "We were alerted and an investigation commenced. On Tuesday 6 May, four men were arrested in connection with the incident. We would like to speak to any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage that may assist our enquiries."
