A man from Worcester says his latest 200-mile cycling and climbing challenge will be his last one.

55-year-old Tony Frobisher has been fundraising for Acorns Children's Hospice since 2007 after his triplet daughters were born prematurely.

His latest one has seen him climb Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon, along with biking in between, but in the past he has also ran the London Marathon, cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats, climbed Kilimanjaro, and completed a trek to Everest.

He says it was a great feeling finishing, and felt it was the right time to bring an end to all his big challenges.

"I'm not getting younger, and I'm 56 at the end of the month," Tony said.

"Every physical challenge takes me away from my family, and the more I've done them, the harder they've got, so it just made sense for this to be the last one.

"I feel fantastic that I managed to complete it, it was a beautiful sunny day and we had a wonderful view from the top of Snowdon, but it feels a little strange finishing and knowing I'm not going to be doing anymore large fundraising events.

On how his body is feeling he added: "There's the usual aches and pains which are only temporary, and it can get very challenging and hard, but the motivation has always been the same because I know that what I'm doing will make a positive difference."

Tony’s friend Simon Deakin-Woods also climbed both mountains with him, and supported him on his cycling journeys in the car.
