A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was ran over outside the Hare and Hounds pub in Kidderminster last night (Saturday 1st March)

The victim, a woman in her 30s, sustained serious leg injuries and remains in hospital, after being struck by a grey Audi A4 n the car park of the pub on Stourbridge Road at around 5.15pm.

A man in his 30s was been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident and remains in police custody.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“This was a concerning incident which resulted in a woman sustaining significant injuries to her legs.

“We know there were a number of people around at this time and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and share that information with me at craig.tennant@westmercia.police.uk quoting incident 323i of 1 March.”
