A woman has been arrested after a drugs warrant in Worcester this morning.

Officers carried out the warrant at a property in Carnforth Drive in Warndon following intelligence around the supply of drugs within the property.

A search of the property was carried out and officers found a quantity of class B drugs (cannabis), as well as mobile phones and cash, estimated over £5,000.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.

The investigation continues.

Police Constable Sly from Warndon Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) said, “I am really pleased with the result of today’s drug warrant. We will never tolerate drugs supply in our community, and we will continue to act on information around drugs supply and trafficking.

“The Warndon community can help us by continuing to report any signs of criminal activity to us – the easiest way to do this is on our website.

“Any bit of information, no matter how small it may seem, could help make a big difference.”
