West Mercia Police say they are continuing in their approach to clamp down on drugs in the Redditch area.

They say further warrants carried out this week is part of their ongoing work, as they aim to tackle the issue.

District inspector for the Redditch and Bromsgrove region Richard Field says it's a key focus for them to make sure communities do feel safe.

"I think it's a priority not just for our force, but many forces across the country," Richard said.

"Drugs and drug dealing really impacts the community, so it's right and proper that we clamp down on it.

"We have a commitment in West Mercia that we will tackle neighbourhood crime, and that's not just drug supply, it can be far wider than that.

"The reality of it is, if something's impacting the neighbourhoods, my job is to work with the partners that I've got around my table to try and address that problem, solve it, and to make that community feel a little bit safer."
