Cordon lifted after unexploded bomb made safe in Worcester

A 100m barrier was in place on Stephenson Road

Bomb disposal experts have dealt with what police are calling an unexploded ordnance. Earlier they put up a 100m cordon and asked people to avoid the area.

The device was apparently discovered by a landscape gardener. People living nearby had to be evacuated from their homes.
