Two people arrested following drug warrants in Worcestershire
Officers seized £100,000 and high value watches.
Two people have been arrested and an estimated £100,000 of cash and high value watches seized following a series of drugs warrants on Wednesday morning.
Officers from the proactive CID teams and the Neighbourhood Crime Fighting Team (NCFT) in South Worcestershire executed one warrant in Worcester and two in Pershore suspected of being linked to county lines drug dealing.
An estimated total of £62,000 in cash, high value watches including a Rolex and an Omega worth approximately £35 to £40,000, a small amount of class A and B drugs and multiple phones were seized across the three addresses.
A man, 30, and a woman, 28, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and money laundering.
They have been bailed pending further enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Kristoffer Stevens, of the South Worcestershire County Lines Team, said: “We have successfully carried out three warrants at addresses in Worcester and Pershore suspected of being linked to county lines drugs dealing.
“A man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and money laundering. They were bailed as we carry out further investigations.
“The warrants were based on good intelligence around the illegal supply of drugs into South Worcestershire and shows we will not stop in our pursuit of those whose actions ultimately heap misery on our communities.”
