The uni shared the news on their socials, saying he brought a smile 'to countless people across our community'.

The University of Worcester posted: "We’re very sad to share that Toby, our beloved campus cat, has passed away.

"Toby wasn’t just a familiar face – he was a friend to many. Whether you stopped for a quick cuddle on the way to class or followed his adventures online, he brought a smile to countless people across our community.

"Toby’s mum has kindly asked for anyone with photos of him to share them with us, either in the comments or as a direct message. We’ll pass them on, so she can see just how much he meant to everyone here at Worcester.
