Teenager left seriously injured after collision in Redditch

Officers are appealing for information after a teenager was seriously injured following a collision in Redditch.
At around 8.15pm yesterday, an off-road motorcycle has collided with a pedestrian who was walking on the pavement along Alcester Street.
The pedestrian, a 17-year-old girl, suffered serious and potentially life-changing injuries as a result.
She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The motorcycle was described as a white ‘pit bike’ with black wheels and a loud exhaust.
Police believe the rider of the motorbike, and the passenger who was riding on the back, may have also suffered injuries.
However, they left the area before police arrived.
Officers are appealing for the rider and the passenger to come forward.
Anyone else with information, or who witnessed the incident, is asked to contact the investigating officers.
