Man charged after woman run over in Kidderminster
The charge relates to an incident outside the Hare and Hounds pub in Kidderminster on Saturday 1 March
A man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, after reports of a woman being run over outside a pub in Kidderminster over the weekend.
Aston Amos, 34, of Queens Road in Stourport-on-Severn has been charged, relating to the incident outside the Hare and Hounds pub.
It’s reported a grey Audi A4 hit a woman in the car park of the pub on Stourbridge Road at around 5.15pm.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Detective Sergeant Craig Tennant, of North Worcestershire CID, said: “This was a concerning incident which resulted in a woman sustaining significant injuries to her legs.
“We know there were a number of people around at this time and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and share that information with me at craig.tennant@westmercia.police.uk quoting incident 323i of 1 March.”
Amos has been remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court today.
