Five men arrested in Worcester attempted murder investigation

Five men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was found with life threatening injuries in Worcester this morning.

Police were called to Barbourne Road at around 4:15am where officers found a 30-year old man with life threatening injuries.

He was taken to hospital where police say he remains in a critical condition.

Five men aged between 22 and 35 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in police custody.

Detective Inspector Corry Horobin from Worcester CID said: “We have arrested five people as part of our initial enquiries and are working to establish the full circumstances of the incident

“Officers will be in and around the local area today as they obtain CCTV footage and engage with residents and the local community.

“If you have any information which you think could help with our enquiries, please get in contact with us.”
