Elderly woman taken to hospital following crash in Worcester
The collision happened on Carden Street around 6:30pm
An elderly woman has been taken to hospital following a collision in Worcester that happened yesterday evening (5 December).
The crash happened on Carden Street around 6:30pm when a White Mercedes Sprinter van collided with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, was taken to the Worcester Royal Hospital with serious injuries.
The Mercedes van left the area before officers arrived.
West Mercia Police is appealing for the driver of the van to come forward and would like to hear from anybody who witnessed the collision.
The force would also like to hear from people who may have dash cam footage from around the time it happened.
