Appeal following serious collision in Herefordshire

A woman has been arrested for drinking under the influence

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A49, Dinmore Hill in Herefordshire yesterday (19 November).

At around 9.20am two vehicles have been travelling in opposite directions along the carriageway between Hereford and Leominster before colliding.

A man in his 60s was taken to hospital with serious and potentially life-changing injuries.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested at the scene for driving while under the influence of drugs. She was treated for minor injuries.
