Body found in search for missing man from Cirencester

Police investigating the disappearance of a 36-year-old man reported missing in Cirencester have sadly found a body.

Gloucestershire Police had been looking for the man, known as Terry, after he was reported missing on Saturday (May 31st).

Officers had confirmed that a formal identification of the body is yet to take place, but they believed the body was that of Terry.

In a statement, Gloucestershire Police said that Terry's family had been informed of the update and were being supported by officers.

They added that the circumstances surrounding the man's death are not being treated as suspicious and a coroner will be brought in to make a formal ruling on his death.
