If you've been tuning into ITV daytime show This Morning with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during self-isolation, you'll probably be aware of their daily game 'Spin To Win', which gives viewers the chance to win generous sums of money.

Usually on the show, the wheel, which is packed with money figures of £500, £1000 and £3000, comes down from the studio's ceiling for Holly and Phillip to spin for the lucky caller... But there was a bit of a mishap today!

The wheel decided it didn't want to come down, and despite Phillip attempting to climb a ladder to fix it, he was swiftly ordered down by the show's Deputy Editor (much to his annoyance), leaving the popular hosts wondering how to play the game.

However, after a quick commercial break, Holly and Phillip showed off their resourcefulness, with Holly ripping up her script to write the money totals on paper and placing them in a mug.

After revealing they've renamed the game to 'Dip To Win', one lucky called up and Phillip picked up the £1000 prize!

Another added, 'Highlight of the morning! Can't beat a bit of live telly when things go slightly wrong!', with a third amused viewer writing, 'Loved @Schofe up the ladder'. (sic)

Despite both Lorraine and Loose Women being taken off due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Good Morning Britain and This Morning have remained, but ITV continue to stress that the crew working in the studio is very minimal.

All presenters also keep a safe distance from each other, and most guests are being interviewed on the shows via video calls.
