This Morning fans were treated to an I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2018 reunion earlier today when John Barrowman MBE stepped in to host the show alongside Holly Willoughby. Of course, Holly temporarily gave up her spot on the sofa last November when she flew out to Australia to present with Declan Donnelly, whose usual companion Ant McPartlin was taking time out of the spotlight.

John, who came third on the show to King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp and runner-up Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack, co-presented the show with Holly today (21st Jan) as Phillip was having the day off - and fans thought he was FABULOUS!

Although many regular viewers were sad not to see Phillip, plenty of others were absolutely loving the former Doctor Who actor on the show - and even called for him to take up a more permanent residence on the show on Twitter.

One wrote, 'I'm loving John Barrowman on This Morning!' as another added, 'I love John, please invite him to host more often!' and one other commented, 'John Barrowman on This Morning is the best idea ever.'

Although there's no word on why Phillip took the day off, he will be back tomorrow as he was only scheduled to be off today's show.

This comes after the first ever weekend showing of This Morning, which aired yesterday (Sunday 20th Jan) with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, who take over hosting the show on Fridays and when Phil and Holly are away on holiday.
