Fleur East spills the BIGGEST behind the scenes secrets ahead of Strictly
"There are a few dark horses"
Hits Radio Breakfast presenter Fleur East is multi-talented, with several popular songs, getting through to the Strictly Come Dancing final last year, and now with being announced as the co-host of Strictly: It Takes Two, alongside former pro Janette Manrara.
Ahead of the new series of Strictly, which is set to start on 16th September, Fleur has been revealing to Hits Radio Breakfast listeners some of the secrets from behind the scenes at the show.
While we know all the celebrities and pros taking part, we're all waiting to hear who has been paired with whom, and Fleur admitted this morning (8th September) that she has seen them all practising!
Speaking on Hits Breakfast, Fleur said: "Being part of the It Takes Two team means I’ve been behind the scenes (this week) for some access all areas backstage news and gossip. I have seen all the celebs and all the pros dancing together and I’ve witnessed a secret salsa!
"I’ve seen all the couples so I know who’s coupled up, and there’s not too much I can give away, but there are some amazing dancers and it’s not the ones you’re going to expect are amazing it’s the ones you’re probably overlooking right now."
She continued: "There are a few dark horses let me tell you that… when I saw them move, I thought those hips don’t lie! There were people doing lifts you wouldn’t expect to be doing lifts… it’s going to be so good!"
We can not wait for the 2023 series to start, meanwhile this week was a very successful week for the show as it picked up Best Talent Show at the NTAs. Fleur and KISS FM presenter Tyler West took to the stage to accept the award on behalf of the cast and crew of the show saying: "The show wouldn't be what it is without the amazing Strictly fans, (we're) ready to show love to the icons Tess and Claudia, who couldn't be here tonight."
