It's fair to say series one of Netflix show Sex/Life certainly got people talking when it first aired back in 2021, showing the story of a love triangle between a woman, her husband, and her past in a pretty intense way.

After over 67 million households streamed series one within the first four weeks of it arriving on the platform, it's no real shock that characters Brad, Billie and Cooper signed up for a second series of the hit raunchy show, and now it's finally landed!

When is Sex/Life series 2 out?

Netflix bosses confirmed on 2nd February that series two of Sex/Life would arrive on the platform on Thursday 2nd March, meaning viewers can stream all six episodes now.

Bosses dropped a dramatic trailer for the show, with the caption: 'Billie navigates new challenges — and fresh desires — as she lusts after the life she wants. But will she be able to have it all?'

Following the announcement back in 2021 that the show would be returning for a second series, main characters Sarah Shahi (Billie) and Adam Demos (Brad), who are actually a real life couple, took to social media to express their excitement.

Adam wrote: 'THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone who has watched and supported our show! Season 2 is going to be epic!!'.

Sarah then commented on Adam's post writing: 'My baby. We get to do it again'.

What is Sex/Life on Netflix about?

If you somehow missed the first series when it arrived back in June 2021, Netflix describe Sex/Life as: 'SEX/LIFE is the story of a love triangle between a woman, her husband, and her past that takes a provocative new look at female identity and desire. Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi) wasn’t always a stay-at-home wife and mother living in the suburbs.

'Before she married loving and reliable Cooper (Mike Vogel) and moved to Connecticut, Billie was a free-spirited wild child living in New York City with her best friend Sasha (Margaret Odette), working hard and playing even harder. Exhausted from taking care of her two young kids and feeling nostalgic for her past, Billie starts journaling and fantasizing about her passionate exploits with sexy ex-boyfriend Brad (Adam Demos), the big heartbreak she never got over. But the more Billie remembers, the more she wonders how she got here — and then her husband finds her journal.

'Will the truth about Billie’s past start a sexual revolution in her marriage, or lead her down a path back to the life she thought she left behind with the man who broke her heart?'

Series one ended with Billie deciding to stay with her husband Cooper and her two children, despite the temptation to run off with her ex-boyfriend Brad.

Speaking about the new series, creator Stacy Rukeyser said: “Sex/Life is a dream come true. To create a show about empowered female sexuality that has entranced so many millions of viewers is not only immensely fun but also incredibly gratifying.

“When I think about all the women who have reached out from all over the world to say that the show speaks to them in a deeply personal way, I am so inspired. I’m thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to continue telling this story for Billie, and for all of us.”
