Are viewers' claims fair?
Literally every contestant ever's whipped out the old 'an hour on Love Island is like a day on the outside' line, and we're starting to think there could be some truth to it.
In just 24 hours an Islander can go from the nation's sweetheart to enemy number one. This year, Amy Hart's seemingly gone from early fan favourite to the show's 'villain' after viewers noticed an apparent 'dig' at Yewande Biala and that 'smug' look during the double dumping.
It's safe to say the UK's divided, but what do former castmates Sherif Lanre and Callum Macleod make of the criticism being fired her way?
Chatting to Hits Radio's Jordan Lee in the latest episode of Love Island: Under the Duvet, Callum reasoned, "It's hard, because you guys only see an hour of the day.
"We see Amy 24/7. I loved Amy in there. We used to call her our mum."
Sherif added, "It's a certain narrative that they have to keep up; they can't just jackknife it and I understand that."
Asked about those supposedly-smug looks Amy's been accused of giving, Callum explained, "I wouldn't have expected her to be like that. I was a bit shocked for her to be like that, knowing what Amy's like. She's one of the most caring in there; she's such a lovely girl.
"You've got to take it with a pinch of salt."
