Love Island fans were NOT happy with Mike's reaction to Callum dumping Shaughna

The 2020 Winter series of Love Island certainly took a while to kick in, but now the drama is rife and viewers are once again hooked on the goings on in the South African villa.

As well as the amazing news that Sean Paul is arriving in the villa for a special Spotify party this weekend, viewers are seething over last night's Casa Amor recoupling, which saw both Demi Jones and Shaughna Phillips be dumped by Nas Majeed and Callum Jones respectively.

With 20-year-old Finn Tapp and 22-year-old Luke Trotman staying loyal to Paige Turley and Siânnise Fudge, viewers were holding out for the awkward moment when Callum returned to the villa with new girl Molly Smith, leaving Shaughna single.

Although bosses decided to cut Shaughna's reaction for tonight's (Friday 7th February) show, viewers did notice Mike Boateng's reaction to Callum's arrival, where he seemingly smirked, despite the rest of the Islanders being in complete and utter shock.

After seeing Mike's reaction, viewers were quick to take to Twitter, one user wrote, 'Just caught up with #loveisland and Mike looks soooo smug when Callum walked in with Molly omg'. sic

Another added, 'Couldn’t even cope with the smug look on Muggy Mike’s face throughout Shaughna’s heartbreak #LoveIsland'. sic

A third annoyed fan then wrote, 'WHY DOES MIKE LOOK SO SMUG? #lovelsland'. sic
