With the 2025 Summer series of Love Island airing now, rumours have heating up as to which singletons have signed up for a Summer of love in the Spanish villa. With the rise of cast members with famous relatives in recent years, rumours have been rife that bosses were keen to sign Alison Hammond's son!
Following the success of Islanders such as Gemma Owen, Tommy Fury, Dani Dyer and Scott Thomas, bosses approached Aidan to appear, and now Alison has confirmed he did audition.
When asked during an appearance on Loose Women if Aidan would be appearing as a bombshell on the latest series, Alison said: "Absolutely not!"
She added that she told her son: "If you really need to do it Aidan, do it when you're a little bit older," because he was only 19 at that time. I just think it's too young - I just think he can do it when he's a little bit older."
Aidan, who is now 20-years-old, has enjoyed success in the world of music in recent years, becoming a DJ and playing at Camp Bestival Dorset in 2024.
Aidan also appeared alongside his mum on BBC travel series Florida Unpacked, which saw the mum-and-son-duo providing viewers with budget-friendly travel advice and revealing the state's hidden gems.
