Despite arriving onto the show late after he replaced injured Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing, former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher proved he is the perfect super-sub, topping the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard alongside Oti Mabuse in Week One.

Although he impressed both the judges and the viewers at home, Kelvin actually suffered a hilarious shaving fail before stepping out for his first performance... The actor only managed to shave ONE of his legs. 🤣

Despite viewers not actually noticing the error due to his long trousers, Kelvin's wife Eliza was quick to point out his mistake, taking to her Instagram Story to make fun of her husband.

Sharing a video of Kelvin, Eliza said, "Let me see your legs Kelvin. So you've shaved one and not the other?"

Before Kelvin laughed, adding, "My razor ran out."

Brilliant! 🤣🤣🤣

Of course, Kelvin wasn't one of the original 15 celebrities announced for the show, he was only drafted in last minute when Jamie Laing injured himself in a group routine.

After Jamie announced he'd have to quit the show, bosses were quick to announce Kelvin as his replacement, as he certainly didn't disappoint during Saturday night's first live show. Performing a Samba to 'La Vida Es Un Carnaval' by Celia Cruz, Kelvin and Oti scored an amazing 32/40.

Kelvin wasn't the only one who impressed the judges. Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden scored 31, with Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice scoring 30.
