Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow, also known as Rachel Green and Phoebe Buffay, have dropped some more hints on what we can expect from the Friends reunion, admitting they "don't know everything about it" and that there will definitely be "surprises".

Speaking about the reunion in an 'Actors on Actors' episode for Variety, Lisa said, "I can't wait to do that. I really can't wait to do that. We don't know everything about it, we need to say." She then added, "I think we're meant to be surprised by some things as well."

Jennifer then clarified that, to their knowledge, the one-off special will not be "scripted", with Lisa then adding, "I think we're meant to be surprised by some things as well."

Jennifer then added to the discussion that, "I will not be Rachel, although I kind of am. Well, we're all sort of little fragments of them. Not really. But yeah." Very interesting!

Lisa then gave us another tease, saying, "There are other things in it. There are other things to it, things I shouldn't really talk about because they should be good."

After the special was confirmed back in February, the reunion was sadly postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The show's creators, however, have now confirmed that they are beginning to put plans into place to begin filming in mid-to-late August.

This isn't the first time that members of the Friends cast have dropped hints about what we can expect from the special, with Courteney Cox, AKA Monica Geller, speaking out about the show back in February.
