Viewers of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! may have been devastated by the news that Ant McPartlin wouldn't be flying to Australia to present this year's show alongside Declan Donnelly, but they soon perked up when This Morning's Holly Willoughby was announced as his temporary replacement.

The 37-year-old, who gave up her spot on the This Morning sofa alongside Phillip Schofield to present I'm A Celeb with Dec, was a huge hit with viewers - and many have called for her to have a permanent role on the show in the future.

However, after reuniting with her best pal and on-screen other half Phillip Schofield at the Dancing On Ice launch, Holly has confirmed that she would NOT be returning to the jungle. "It was a one-off, once in a lifetime adventure," she confirmed. "Next year, I’ll be at home with everyone else having a glass of wine watching it."

This comes after a source told the Daily Star that show bosses were keen to keep her in some capacity, "She’s been such a success that producers are now keen to keep her whatever happens. Holly stepped up to the plate. The top people at ITV are now really keen to get her back next year."

But Ant has now reportedly returned to work, and was photographed in London yesterday wearing a suit, suggesting that he could be making his on-screen comeback for the next series of Britain's Got Talent. According to MailOnline, a source has said that Ant was "always planning to take the rest of 2018 off to fully recover."

They added, "He didn’t want to commit to anything before he was absolutely ready but now he feels up to it again. He’s got his first production meetings this week where he will be talking about the plan for the new series in January and from then onwards he’s back into work mode. The break has been exactly what he needed and done him the world of good."

We can't wait to see him back on our screens!
