I'm A Celebrity campmates praised for rallying round Anne Hegerty after she broke down
She was struggling with the conditions

The brand new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! kicked off with a bang last night (18th Nov). Although I'm A Celebrity... viewers were sad that Ant McPartlin was not in the jungle with Declan Donnelly, they seemed to be more than happy with how temporary stand-in presenter Holly Willoughby got on.
After a series of challenges, the campmates were divided into two teams - the Reds, made up of Harry Redknapp, Nick Knowles, Sair Khan, John Barrowman and Malique Thompson-Dwyer, who won the final challenge which allowed them to reside in Croc Creek, the much nicer camp.
The highlight of the episode was when Harry Redknapp told the others he wasn't keen on the idea of eating emu, and had been convinced that once the cameras stopped rolling, everyone would pile round the back for a bacon butty.
However, after losing the first challenge, the Yellows - made up of Rita Simons, James McVey, Fleur East, Anne Hegerty and Emily Atack - arrived at Snack Rock; a decidedly worse camp with a bag of beans and rice each to last them 24 hours.
After realising what they were in for, The Chase's Anne Hegerty couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed, and broke down in tears, telling her fellow campmates, "I'm really close to saying I can't do this."
Sair Khan
It's been reported that Coronation Street actress Sair Khan may have secured a ÂŁ40,000 payment for her stay in the jungle.
Anne Hegerty
The Chase star Anne Hegerty could take home between ÂŁ60,000 to ÂŁ80,000.
Nick Knowles
It's thought TV presenter Nick Knowles has landed a big deal of around ÂŁ200,000.
Fleur East
Negotiations appear to have gone on for a while, but it's thought that Fleur East has been offered between ÂŁ50,000 and ÂŁ70,000.
James McVey
The Vamps star James McVey is thought to have secured a pay cheque of ÂŁ40,000.
John Barrowman
It's been reported that I'm A Celeb bosses wanted John on the show for years, so they paid between ÂŁ120,000 to ÂŁ200,000 to get him on board.
Malique Thompson-Dwyer
20-year-old Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer might have only been paid about ÂŁ15,000.
Harry Redknapp
It was recently revealed that football manager Harry Redknapp is being paid ÂŁ500,000 for his stint in the jungle.
Emily Atack
Emily's fee might be as low as ÂŁ15,000 but it's been reported that she will have been paid ÂŁ40,000.
Rita Simons
EastEnders star Rita could be paid between ÂŁ80,000 and ÂŁ100,000 for her three weeks in the jungle.
Noel Edmonds
It was recently revealed that Noel Edmonds may be heading into the jungle this year and it's claimed he will be the highest paid contestant at ÂŁ600,000!
Anne, who revealed earlier in the show that she has Autism, was immediately comforted by the other campmates, and was visibly feeling better after they all came to her aid.
Emily told the Bush Telegraph, "Anne got a bit upset so we gave her a cuddle. It's overwhelming. I think she was just expressing how we were all feeling, we just didn't want to admit it!"
Fleur added, "I feel like we all have to be there for her and the minute that we all rallied around her, she just felt so much better."
Viewers praised Anne for being so brave and also commended her fellow campmates for taking care of her. One wrote, 'I wish I was joking when I say I fully started crying when Anne started crying on I’m a celeb, she’s so cute that it breaks my heart,' as another added, 'I’m sitting here crying because poor Anne is crying in I’m a celeb, bless her.'
I'm A Celebrity... continues every night on ITV at 9pm.
