Fans of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! were in for a treat back in 2023, when hosts Ant and Dec presented a special All Stars edition of the show, called I'm A Celeb: South Africa. Featuring former camp mates from the last 20 years, the show was won by Myleene Klass, but it didn't return in 2024.

However, early in September 2025, bosses announced some very exciting news...

Will there be a second series?

After rumours about a second series were rife earlier this year, ITV/STV have now confirmed the news, revealing the show will return in 2026.

Ant said of the news: “The campmates really brought their A-game to the first series so we can’t wait to be back for more trials, challenges and surprises amongst the beautiful South African landscape.”

Dec added: “Having a live final is an exciting addition to the new series with the viewers choosing their IAC Legend and we’ve heard some of the new trials are truly epic, even by I’m A Celeb… standards!.”

Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment, Reality & Daytime Commissioning at ITV, says: “We were blown away by the love for the first series of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa. It was a true celebration of the show’s history and viewers loved seeing their favourite campmates return to their screens. We can’t wait to do it all again next year with a whole new cohort, and have the audience crown the winner during a live final for the first time.”

Tom Gould, Director of Entertainment & Formats, Lifted Entertainment, then added: “We’re very excited to have some more of the most memorable campmates from previous series returning to take on terrifying trials and face challenging twists and difficult decisions, in the tougher setting of South Africa. It will test them to their limits, and with a live final, this time viewers will get to decide who truly deserves the title of I’m A Celebrity Legend”.

Will it be live?

The series will once again be pre-recorded, but in an exciting twist, the public will have the power to decide who is crowned the ultimate legend 2026. After weeks of shocks, showdown and survival, viewers will be able to have their say and cast the final vote in a live grand final broadcast direct from London.

Which celebs will take part?

Although ITV/STV haven't officially confirmed anything, the Daily Mirror are reporting which former camp mates will take part in the second series, and it's safe to say the line-up is full of personalities!

Former winners Harry Redknapp and Scarlett Moffatt will take part, as well as iconic camp mates like Gemma Collins, Sir Mo Farah and Sinitta.

Harry Redknapp

Former football manager Harry instantly become one of the most iconic I'm A Celeb camp mates ever after his stint in the jungle back in 2018, going on to be crowned King of the Jungle. His one-liners and his lovely words about his wife Sandra really won the hearts of the nation.

Gemma Collins

Reality star Gemma took part in the 2014 series of I'm A Celeb, but quit after just three days! Despite this, her short appearance certainly made an impact, with fans calling for her return ever since.

Jimmy Bullard

Former footballer Jimmy Bullard made an instant impact when he took part in the show in 2014, causing drama amongst his fellow camp mates. Jimmy was the first to get the boot so he will be hoping he performs better this time round!

Scarlett Moffatt

Thanks to her time on Gogglebox, Scarlett entered the Australian camp during the 16th series in 2016, and she became an instant hit with fans! Despite being in the final alongside Joel Dommett and Adam Thomas, Scarlett was crowned Queen of the Jungle.

Sinitta

Singer and Simon Cowell's BFF Sinitta entered the camp as a late arrival during the 2011 series, but she didn't last long, being the second celeb to be voted off.

Adam Thomas

Joining Scarlett from the 2016 series will be Waterloo Road actor Adam! He's no stranger to a reality show, so will he go one step further this time round?

Sir Mo Farah

Sir Mo was part of the 2020 series which took place at Gwrych Castle in Wales thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Olympic legend wasn't shy in opening up in camp, resulting in him being loved by viewers.

Ashely Roberts

Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley was a camp mate during the 12th series in 2012, finishing as runner-up on the show behind EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks. Ashley's appearance led her to other major TV and Radio gigs here in the UK.

David Haye

Boxer David was also camp mate during the 12th series in 2012, and he had pretty good success on the show, finishing in third place behind Charlie Brooks and runner-up Ashley Roberts.

Beverley Callard

Coronation Street legend Beverley Callard never got to experience the true jungle, after taking part in the 2020 series at Gwrych Castle in Wales.

Seann Walsh

Comedian Seann Walsh entered the I'm A Celeb camp as a late arrival alongside Matt Hancock during the 2022 series, following his Strictly scandal which saw him kissing dancing partner Katya Jones. Seann proved popular in the jungle, finishing in fifth place.

Craig Charles

Actor and DJ Craig Charles signed up for show back in 2014, but sadly, after just four days in camp, Craig made the decision to leave the show after being told the heartbreaking news that his brother had sadly passed away.

When is it on TV?

There's no exact start date just yet, but it will be some time in 2026.

ITV/STV say: 'The all-star version of the iconic I’m A Celebrity… format will once again bring together some of the most memorable campmates from series gone by, as they return to test themselves in brand new trials and challenges in the South African wilderness.'

During the usual 2025 series, a first look clip was unveiled during an ad break, with the title 'unmissable in 2026'.

When was the first series?

Filmed in 2022, the first series of I'm A Celeb: South Africa aired between Monday 24th April and Friday 12th May 2023, with former camp mates such as Joe Swash, Jordan Banjo, Andy Whyment and Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo all taking part.

Four celebs made it to the final, including Jordan Banjo, Myleene Klass, Fatima Whitbread and Phil Tufnell, with Myleene being crowned the first 'Legend'.
