I'm A Celeb viewers shocked over Naughty Boy and Frankie's rice drama
Tensions are rising in the camp
Following his return to Main Camp earlier this week, it seems music producer Naughty Boy isn't totally enjoying his time on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, with the 36-year-old even threatening to quit.
However, after his family released a statement urging viewers to be kind, Naughty Boy seemed to have a change of heart, joining up with the Main Camp and getting involved in trials.
Despite this, tensions were very high during last night's (Thursday 25th November) episode, when Naughty Boy wasn't happy with the way his fellow camp mates were cooking the rice and beans.
Quickly being dubbed 'rice gate' by viewers, Naughty Boy and The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge had a disagreement over the rice, which left Frankie in tears and Naughty Boy very frustrated.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, the 'La La La' hit maker said: "I'm quite passionate about cooking and maybe this isn't the place to be passionate about cooking. I don't want to be the one who says it, I'm just being real, it's not rice."
Speaking to Emmerdale star Danny Miller about the rice, Naughty Boy added: "Rice pudding is supposed to be a sweet dish. That was difficult for me to eat. It's not supposed to be rice pudding, it's supposed to be rice that goes with beans."
Defending her fellow camp mate's cooking, Loose Women star Frankie told him: "You're just coming into our camp and this was just what we did".
Clearly not happy with Frankie suggesting the original camp mates from The Clink were just 'visitors', Naughty Boy quickly said: "Don't say things like you came to 'our' camp."
After removing herself from the altercation, Frankie was later seen crying about the situation, saying to Kadeena Cox: "I'd rather not have rice at this point. I just hate any confrontation. Now I'm like, 'Oh my god, did I say something bad?' Now I've offended him, why am I talking about rice, I just hate it. I don't understand what the issue is."
Following the tense moment, I'm A Celeb viewers were divided over #ricegate, with many flabbergasted the pair were arguing over rice in the first place...
One wrote: 'It's all kicking off - over rice pudding! #ImACeleb', with another adding: 'It’s literally just rice… #ImACeleb'. (sic)
Another added: 'I think maybe the boomers were right. Watching two adults cry about rice makes me think we are a snowflake generation 😂 '. (sic)
A fourth then Tweeted: 'Why is everyone now fighting or crying about rice? #ImACeleb'. (sic)
Well, to avoid more debates about how to perfectly cook rice, the camp mates will be hoping Naughty Boy brings back lots of stars in tonight's trial!
