I’m A Celeb fans (and David Ginola) were left in tears in Monday’s episode (6th December) after campmates received their letters from home after weeks away from loved ones in the Welsh castle.

After a tricky game when they had to remember ‘WI-FI codes’ to win each other a letter, Emmerdale actor Danny Miller’s emotional note from his wife Steph and newborn son Albert caused his campmate David Ginola to walk away in tears.

There wasn’t a dry house in the castle as former Newcastle United footballer David read the note to Danny: "Dear Daddy, it’s Steph and Albert here. He recognises your voice on the telly and looks up at it when he hears you.

"I really think he looks more and more like you every day."

David was then overcome with emotion as he was namechecked in the letter: "We all love watching your relationship with David blossom. Thank you David for looking after our boy.”

After he finished reading out the letter, viewers watched David tearfully walk away from the group. Danny followed him and they hugged as David told him: “I’m proud of you, it was beautiful. They love you so much.”

I’m A Celeb fans loved the moment between the pair, with one tweeting: ‘David and Danny’s friendship in #ImACeleb is so wholesome and pure and I am here for it .’

Another fan wrote: 'The letters get me every time. Danny & David though #ImACeleb'

One more added: 'Danny miller was absolutely distraught as he missed out on getting best mate david ginolas letter from home; this video is making me emotional especially the way david is comforting him. love this bromance #imaceleb (sic)'

There’s only one week left of the current series of I’m A Celeb and we’ve already started to say goodbye to one campmate per night. Each night leading up to the final, the contestant with the least amount of votes will be eliminated from camp - we've already said goodbye to Arlene Phillips and Kadeena Cox.

This year’s I’m A Celebrity final will air on Sunday 12th December.
