Hollyoaks' Ste Hay and Brendan Brady are set for a reunion
It's for a special documentary
It's been four years since Hollyoaks fans last saw bad boy Brendan Brady on their TV screens, but now it's been announced actor Emmett J Scanlon will be returning for an online special.
Emmett will join his former co-star and on-screen love interest Kieron Richardson for a one off documentary on All4 called Hollyoaks Pride.
Hollyoaks revealed the news in a short video recorded by Kieron Richardson. The actor announced the documentary and revealed it will celebrate all of the LGBT+ storylines over the years.
Emmett then joins Kieron and the couch, leaving fans with a a little bit of nostalgia from the pair's former relationship on the show, and of course Brendan is a cheerful as he ever was...
The special All4 documentary will feature clips from the most iconic moments on the soap and show how they've positively dealt with LGBT+ issues.
Kieron and Emmett will join a number of their co-stars including James Sutton (John Paul MQueen), Ross Adams (Scott Drinkwell), Tamara Wall (Grace Black), Annie Wallace (Sally St. Claire) and Jazmine Franks (Esther Bloom), as well as executive producer Bryan Kirkwood.
Speaking about Hollyoaks Pride, executive producer Bryan said, "Channel 4 was created to give a voice to a minority audience so I think it’s incredibly important that Hollyoaks, as C4’s flagship drama, gives that voice to LGBT+ viewers."
