Hit Channel 4 show Gogglebox always does a brilliant job of keeping us all entertained, so it's no wonder fans are gutted series 24 has ended.

As well as the likes of Simon and Jane, and Roisin and Joe, fan favourites Jenny and Lee, Pete and Sophie, Ellie and Izzi and the Malone family all returned for the last series, with a brand new family also joining the cast to give their hilarious opinions on some of the biggest TV shows around.

Who is on Gogglebox? Meet the families:

Ellie and Izzi Warner

Sisters Ellie and Izzi Warner from Leeds have also become fan favourites after first joining the show in 2015.


Izzi gave birth to a beautiful baby girl called Bessie Rose in early 2020, whilst Ellie recently announced she was expecting her first child with her boyfriend Nat.


In early 2022, Izzi also introduced fans to her brand new puppy called Cookie.


Ellie and Izzi took a break from Gogglebox during season 19, following Ellie's boyfriend Nat being left 'fighting for his life' after he was hit by a car during a night out in Leeds in March. Ellie later revealed on 13th May that her and sister Izzi would be returning to our screens that night, thanking fans for their well wishes.


Ellie and Izzi returned for series 24.

Pete and Sophie

Brother and sister duo Pete and Sophie Sandiford have become one of the most popular castings in Gogglebox history! The funny siblings first joined the cast in 2017.


It seems that comedy runs in the family for these two, with the recent revelation that the pair are related to none other than Paul Chuckle himself!


After getting married to his girlfriend Paige Yeomans, the pair welcomed their first child into the world in 2021, with little Jimmy already making an appearance on Gogglebox. In December 2022, Pete then confirmed Paige is pregnant with the couple's second child.


During series 21, Pete confirmed the birth of his second child, and the pair returned for series 24.

Jenny and Lee

Best friends Jenny and Lee are also back, they first joined the show on series 4 back in 2014! The pair have us in fits of giggles with their banter both on and off the show.


Jenny and Lee, who film the show from Lee's caravan in Hull, have been best friends for over 20 years and often delight fans by sharing throwback photos of each other.


In series 19, Jenny and Lee took a break from the show after Jenny underwent surgery for a minor illness. However, the pair were back for series 20 and have appeared on the show since.

The Malone family

The Malone family, made up of Tom, Julie, Tom Jnr and Shaun, are one of the most popular families with fans. They first joined the cast in 2014.


In February 2021, just one day before series 17, Tom Jr announced he'd quit the show.


In March 2021, Tom and Julie's daughter Vanessa joined the show! During series 20, the Malone family also introduced their brand new puppy. In October 2023, the family revealed the sad news that their beloved dog Dave had sadly passed away.

Abbie and Georgia

Durham girls Abbie and Georgia first joined the show back in 2018.


In 2022, just one month before series 19 hit our screens, Georgia announced she was expecting her first baby. After giving birth to a baby boy in July, baby Hugh James Newby occasionally appears.

Dave and Shirley

Welsh couple Dave and Shirley, who have been married for over 40 years, first joined the show back in 2015 and have been fan favourites since.

The Siddiqui family

The Siddiqui family, made up of Umar, Baasit and their dad Sid, have become Gogglebox legends since joining the show back in series 1.


Brother Raza also occasionally makes an appearance on the show, but due to working away, he can't always commit to filming.

Giles and Mary

Gogglebox fans fell in love with Giles and his wife Mary when they joined the cast in 2015, mainly due to Giles' hilarious stories... Much to Mary's annoyance.

The Worthingtons

The Worthingtons, made up of Alison, her husband George and her daughter Helena, joined the cast in series 10. In 2019, Helena welcomed a baby boy called Edwin, and he's already made his debut.

Amira and Iqra

Amira and Iqra first joined the show back in 2017 with their other friend Amani, but now it's just the two of them leaving viewers in stitches with their comments.

Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan

Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan, brothers from Bristol, joined back in 2016, quickly becoming a big hit with viewers.

Simon and Jane

Joining the cast for series 18, Simon and his sister Jane appeared on the box for the first time on 22nd October 2021 and have been regular cast members since.

Ronnie and Annie

Joining the cast in November 2021 was Ronnie and his wife Annie!

Roisin and Joe

Unveiled as brand new cast members on Friday 25th February 2022, young couple Roisin and Joe are the first Scottish people to appear on the show since 2016!

Danielle and Daniella

Best friends Danielle and Daniella from Leeds joined the show during series 20 in 2022.

Elaine and Seb

Mother and son duo Elaine and Seb made their debut on the show during the opening episode of series 22 in September 2023. The pair are from Forest of Dean.

Teresa ad Anita

Married couple Teresa and Anita from Solihull joined the show for series 23.

Michael, Sally, Jake and Harry

Ahead of episode four of series 24, Gogglebox bosses announced a brand new family had joined the show, in the form of Michael, Sally, Jake and Harry from Kent.

Are Stephen and Daniel still on Gogglebox?

In September 2023, original Gogglebox cast member Stephen Webb announced that him and his husband Daniel Lustig-Webb were leaving the show. Stephen joined the show during its first series in 2013, with Daniel appearing alongside him since 2019.

In a statement posted to his Instagram page, Stephen said: 'After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox. We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities.

'We would both like to thank Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for letting us be part of this amazing, funny and heartwarming show. We are also extremely thankful to the cast and crew, or Gogglebox family as we call them and of course the fans, thank you for all of your love & support over the years.'

In April 2024, following six years of marriage, Daniel and Stephen announced they were getting a divorce. Despite the news, it appears the pair are still great friends.

Stephen went on to appear on the 2024 series of Celebs Go Dating.

Are Ellie and Izzi Warner still on Gogglebox?

Ellie and Izzi Warner have become fan favourites since they joined the Gogglebox family back in 2015, appearing on the show regularly.

In March 2022, the shocking news broke that Ellie's boyfriend, Nat, had been hit by a car in Leeds, leaving him 'fighting for his life'. Following the sad news, Ellie and Izzi were absent from Gogglebox, with neither the show or the girls confirming if, or when, they would return.

Much to fans' delight, Ellie shared a lovely snap of her and her sister Izzi on Friday 13th May, confirming their welcomed return to the show! Ellie wrote: 'Looking forward to getting back on your screens tonight! Thank you for all the well wishes, we are really grateful that things are getting back to normal 💓'.

During the final episode in series 20 on Friday 9th December, Ellie revealed the amazing news she's expecting her first child with her boyfriend Nat. During an episode during series 21 in early June, Ellie introduced her baby boy to viewers.

The pair returned with Ellie's son for series 22, and also returned for series 23 and 24.

Are Jenny and Lee still on Gogglebox?

They sure are! The hilarious besties returned to our screens for series 20 of Gogglebox, after taking a short break during series 19 as Jenny had to undergo surgery.

Fans began to worry for the pair, as they were missing from series 19 back in May 2022 following a minor illness which left Jenny needing surgery. Lee took to his socials to put us all at ease, saying: "Hi everybody, you'll never guess who I've just bumped into."

Panning the camera to Jenny, she then said: "I just want to thank you all for your kind get well wishes, they've really cheered me up, thank you very much."

Jenny then explained that the pair weren't going to feature any more on series 19, but will be back for series 20, which began in September 2022. Lee then added: "September, guys. We'll be back in September. Have a lovely summer everybody!"

Ahead of series 21 in February 2023, Jenny and Lee uploaded a video of themselves waving to the camera, telling fans: 'Sorry folks we are back see you all on Friday 9pm @c4gogglebox #gogglebox'. (sic)

The pair returned went on to appear in series 22, 23 and 24.

Who are the Scottish couple on Gogglebox?

Unveiled just hours before episode two of series 19 on Friday 25th February, young couple Roisin and Joe have joined the Gogglebox cast!

Roisin, 23, and Joe, 25, moved in together during lockdown and they are the first Scottish cast members to appear on the show since way back in 2016.

The couple returned for series 23 and 24.

Remembering the stars of Gogglebox we've sadly lost:

A number of popular stars from Gogglebox have sadly died in recent years, with bosses paying touching tributes.

June and Leon Bernicoff

Liverpudlian Leon Bernicoff sadly passed away at the age of 83 just days before Christmas in December 2017, following a short illness.

Channel 4 said at the time of his death: 'It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and #Gogglebox legend Leon. We will all miss him so very dearly. Our thoughts are with June and family at this incredibly sad time. 💔'.

Three years later, Leon's wife June then passed away at the age of 82.

Gogglebox's Producer Tania Alexander wrote on social media: 'We are deeply saddened to announce that Gogglebox’s much-loved June Bernicoff passed away at the age of 82 on May 5 at home with her family by her side after a short illness. As the first couple to be cast for Gogglebox back in 2013, June and her husband Leon were a huge part of the programme‘s success.'

Pete McGarry

In June 2021, Gogglebox favourite Pete McGarry sadly died at the age of 71 following a battle with bowel cancer. Pete, who appeared on the show alongside his wife Linda, died peacefully surrounded by his family.

A statement released by Gogglebox on behalf of the family read: 'We are deeply saddened to announce that Gogglebox star Pete McGarry passed away at the age of 71 this weekend with his family by his side after a short illness. Our thoughts are with Linda, their children and grandchildren.

'Since 2000, Pete and Linda have fostered over 100 children and he is a beloved father, husband and grandfather. The family have asked for privacy at this sad time,' adding that his passing was not COVID-related.'

Mary Cook

It was confirmed in August 2021 that Mary Cook had passed away surrounded by her family at the age of 92.

Gogglebox bosses confirmed the sad news, writing on Twitter: 'We are extremely saddened to share that Gogglebox star Mary Cook passed away in hospital this weekend at the age of 92 with her family by her side. She will be dearly missed by the entire Gogglebox family, cast and crew.’

'Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend to many, Mary, who worked in the hospitality trade, had been married and widowed twice.

'Bristolians Mary & Marina met at St Monica Trust retirement village over ten years ago and had been friends ever since. They joined Gogglebox in 2016 at the start of series eight and became instant fan favourites due to their brilliantly witty and often cheeky comments. Mary will be missed by the entire Gogglebox family, cast and crew.'

Andy Michael

Just days after the news about Mary, it was confirmed that Andy Michael from the Michael family had passed away at the age of just 61, following a short illness.

Gogglebox bosses wrote: 'We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Gogglebox star Andy Michael at the age of 61 following a short illness.

Our thoughts are with his family at this time. Andy will be truly missed by the entire Gogglebox family, cast and crew.'

Pat Webb

In January 2024, sad news was announced that cast member Pat Webb had died at the age of 75 following a long illness.

Pat appeared on the show between series 10-12 alongside her son Stephen Webb, gaining the title of Mummy Pat Webb.

Gogglebox bosses paid tribute to Pat on Monday 29th January, writing: 'We are deeply saddened to announce that Gogglebox star Mummy Pat Webb passed away this weekend at the age of 75 after a long illness.

‘Pat was a much loved cast member on the show from series 10 -12 alongside her son Stephen.

‘Mummy Pat will be remembered and missed by her children Stephen, Denise, Sharon, Beverley and the extended family. Our thoughts are with the family who have requested privacy at this sad time'.

George Gilbey

On Wednesday 27th March, news broke that former Gogglebox star George Gilbey had sadly passed away at the age of 40, following a tragic incident at his workplace.

George appeared on the show for eight series alongside his mum Linda and step-dad Pete, before leaving the show to appear on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014.

Following the news of his shock passing, Gogglebox bosses paid tribute, writing: 'George was part of the Gogglebox family for eight series alongside his mum Linda and step-dad Pete. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Linda, and George’s family and friends at this very sad time. The family have asked for privacy'. (sic)
