Opening with a shot of Georgia behind bars in a prison cell, Ginny could be heard saying: "What happens when everything falls apart? The rug can be pulled out from under you in a second."

The snappy teaser proceeded to show us many returning faces, and it's fair to say it looked like plenty of drama was set to roll out as Georgia faced the jury. Netflix took to their socials to share the teaser, writing: 'Time for a sneak peak…. Counting down the days to June 5th!!!'. (sic)

Of course, fans fled to the comments to share the excitement, following a two-year wait to see THAT cliffhanger play out - you know, the one that saw Georgia arrested on her own wedding day. One fan wrote: 'AHHHHHHHHHHHHH JUNE CANT GET HERE FAST ENOUGH', whilst another exclaimed: 'IF THIS IS THE TEASER THEN I CANT WAIT FOR THE TRAILER'. (sic)

Excitement for season three was well and truly ignited last year (2024), as show bosses shared a picture of the cast to confirm filming had begun in April. After almost a year's wait, it was then confirmed that season three of Ginny & Georgia would be with us in June 2025.

First look images

Shortly after announcing the release date, Netflix bosses quickly went on to share two new images of the new season, showing Georgia behind bars, and Ginny and her little brother Austin sitting on the bench in a courtroom.

From the concerned look on Austin's face, and after season two saw Georgia marched off in handcuffs, we could only assume the pair were watching on as their mother stands in court.

Filming for season 3

Filming for the third season of the show began back in April 2024, with bosses amping up the excitement with a picture of the returning cast at a script reading.

Showing starring cast members such as Brianne Howey (who plays the infamous Georgia), Antonia Gentry (who plays Ginny) and Felix Mallard (who plays Marcus) smiling with their brand new scripts, bosses wrote: 'Happy first day of filming of season 3!!! 🥰🍑🎬'. (sic)

With fans having waited over a year at this point for a production update on Ginny& Georgia season three, it came as no surprise that they flew to the comments to share the joy - one fan wrote: 'Finally i'm so excited!!' (sic), with another adding: 'YESSSS ❤️🔥'. (sic)

The image also confirmed the return of characters such as Zion (played by Nathan Mitchell), Paul (played by Scott Porter), Max (played by Sara Waisglass), Joe (played by Raymond Ablack) and Ellen (played by Jennifer Robertson).

Also appearing in the welcomed cast photo is Sabrina Grdevich - who plays the role of Cynthia - amping up the excitement following the dramatic ending to season two, which saw Georgia arrested for the murder of Cynthia's husband, Tom.
