Emmerdale spoilers: Kirin Kotecha returns to threaten Charity Dingle
He's not about to let her adopt his son without compensation
He's been lurking ominously for months, and now Kirin Kotecha has finally made his business back in Emmerdale known as he threatens to put a stop to Charity Dingle's adoption of his biological son, Johnny Woodfield.
But in classic Kirin style, nothing comes without a price and soon Charity is begging her family for money to pay him off.
Meanwhile, Priya Sharma wants nothing to do with him but when he appears down a quiet alleyway, will she be able to stand her ground?
Elsewhere, Harriet Finch is consumed by guilt as she tries to reconcile killing D.I Malone with her religion.
As she teeters on the brink of turning her back on on the church, Dawn Taylor reminds her she doesn't really have a choice.
Meanwhile, Dan Spencer is mortified by the lengths Amelia Spencer has to go to accommodate his condition and Gabby Thomas is once again let down by Leyla Harding.
CHECK OUT: Emmerdale Monday 14 - Friday 18 September
Harriet's world comes crashing down around her after admitting to her role in Malone's murder and Will decides to leave her.
Feeling bereft, Harriet tells Dawn that she's done being the town vicar and rips off her dog's collar, wracked with guilt over her sins.
But Dawn reminds Harriet that she can't leave the church because they need to continue to cover up Malone's burial site.
Meanwhile, the murder is taking it's toll on Dawn's mental health too and despite Billy refusing to give up their relationship without a fight, she's checked out.
While Billy begs Dawn to give him another chance, Dawn is determined to put on a brave face, lying as she tells Billy that she never really loved him.
Elsewhere, a buoyed Charity ploughs ahead with adopting Johnny and tells Priya that if Kirin were to turn up now it would ruin everything.
Later on, Priya is caught off guard when Kirin approaches her for money. Remembering what Charity has told her, Priya refuses.
But Kirin has other ideas and tells Priya that if she won't give it to him, he'll just get it directly off Charity. He leaves, vowing to see Johnny.
Kirin tracks down Charity and after his demands to see Johnny are refused tells her that if she doesn't pay up he'll make it impossible to adopt him.
Feeling trapped, Charity agrees to hand over the money but comes up short, leaving Kirin unimpressed. Charity tells him about Vanessa's cancer diagnosis.
Refusing to accept Charity's excuses, Kirin turns up the next day and demands the full amount they had agreed on previously.
Charity's exhausted all her options after raiding the family safe and begging Paddy and Chas not to report Kirin to the police.
But as things escalate between them Tracy turns up to the scene and is followed by police officers. How will Kirin explain himself?
Meanwhile, Nicola is forced to move her clothes swap from to the café after the town hall is invaded by mice but the event is a success.
At the swap, Dan is relieved and grateful when Nicola is happy to let Amelia bring some clothes home for free, sympathetic to their plight.
But no one in the village really knows how bad things have gotten and later on at home Dan is embarrassed when his inability to move causes him to wet himself.
A mortified Dan has no choice but to tell Amelia about his accident and Amelia, not knowing what to say, runs to fetch him some fresh clothes.
Later on, Amelia confides in Sarah about what a difficult time she's having at home and admits the school are going to send Dan a fine for all the days she's missed.
Determined to cheer her up, Sarah suggests the two of them bunk off school the next day and nick Al's credit card to go shopping with.
The next day, Sarah arrives for their shopping trip but with everything Dan is going for, Amelia bails on the plans to bunk off school.
As Sarah heads off on her own, Amelia notices that she's left the credit card on the bench and quickly pockets it, convinced she's found a solution to the fines.
Elsewhere, Gabby is ready to start college and Leyla suggest they go out for drinks to celebrate the new chapter, leaving Gabby excited.
But as Gabby heads off to get changed, Leyla runs into Liam outside the pub who twists her arm to have dinner with him and Leyla can't refuse.
When Gabby turns up dressed to go out, Leyla is forced to admit she double booked and, dejected, Gabby heads out to a boozy student event instead.
But first, here's what's coming up this week...
After a months-long campaign of terror against the residents of Emmerdale, D.I Malone finally meets his grizzly end when he's shot and killed by Dawn Taylor.
Watching Will grow increasingly paranoid to the point he buys a gun to protect them, Dawn finally comes clean and admits to the murder, leaving her dad stunned. When Harriet Finch arrives home unexpectedly, she's left to decide if she will come clean about her own involvement in the crime.
Will she?
Elsewhere, Belle Dingle is in the firing line as Paddy Kirk and Marlon Dingle accuse her of creating a family feud (which, tbf, she has). With Jamie Tate her only support, Belle is cautious when he declares he wants to push on with the divorce.
Meanwhile, Marlon is mortified to have seemingly ruined Amy Wyatt's chances with Matty Barton and sets the wheels in motion to reunite them, but Tracy Metcalfe has other ideas...
