After weeks of begging Jamie to have an involvement in their baby's life, Gabby finally manages to convince him to join her for a scan and when he becomes emotional, she's deeply touched, hopeful they could have a future as a family.
When something comes up for Andrea, Kim is pleased when she asks her to look after Millie, who is sick, at short notice. After Manpreet pays a visit to prescribe Millie some antibiotics, Kim's own condition worsens and she passes out.
Elsewhere, Marlon's money worries are intensifying and he tells Billy and Ellis he's going to have to double their rent. As the brothers make the decision to find somewhere else to live, Marlon is at a loose end - but Rhona thinks she's found a way to help.
Coming round hours later, Kim is horrified to find Millie having an allergic reaction to the pills. While Millie recovers, Andrea and Jamie call round and a furious Andrea tells Kim she's banned from even spending time with Millie again.
Kim is devastated to have lost her grand-daughter but soon her spirits are lifted again when Gabby calls round and presents her with a photo of the scan. However Gabby's concerned when Kim refers to her unborn child as "my baby"...
Later on, Jamie convinces Dawn to have a drink with him at Home Farm. Knowing that splitting up is for the best now that Jamie's got a baby on the way, Dawn tries to call things off, but Jamie suggests they keep seeing each other in secret.
Meanwhile, Faith comes up with a plan regarding her hearse and soon Pollard catches Faith pinching bedding and a mattress from the shed. What's she up to?
When Jimmy finds out that he's been hoodwinked into signing over half of his business to Charity, he's furious - but even more so when Charity tells him it's his wife he needs to speak to. Later he's shocked to discover it's Nicola who came up with the idea.
At home just as Jimmy and Nicola's row reaches boiling point, Juliette appears and Jimmy kicks her out of the house. As he harangues Juliette in the street Carl watches from his bedroom window. The next morning, it's clear that Carl is still suffering from what he saw.
