Although the summer days are slipping away and the weather is turning a little bit grim, Netflix have well and truly turned our frowns upside down as they have officially dropped the second season of Emily in Paris!

Yes, that's right, as of today (22nd December), Emily in Paris season two has graced our screens, with 10 whole episodes giving us our fix of sun, romance and colourful fashion as Emily heads on vacation in Saint-Tropez.

Show bosses amped up the excitement back in September, when they shared the official teaser trailer to the show's official Instagram, writing: ' Pack your bags, because this holiday season just became trés chic. Season 2 premieres December 22!'

Of course, a LOT of trés excited fans jumped into the comments section to rejoice in the wonderful news, with one writing: 'Yay!!!!! I’m so happy!! Thank you thank you thank you!!' (sic), another commenting: 'our girl emily cooper finally coming back to us' (sic), and another simply gushing: 'Oh my god oh my god oh my god'.

The news was welcomed by us all with open arms, especially given that Netflix shared the first-look photos from the new season just three days prior! Of course, show star Lily Collins was looking incredibly chic.

While sharing the photos, Netflix even teased that not only will we be seeing more fashion and romance, we will be seeing some more areas of France, too.

So, sod the Christmas films - it's time to binge watch the whole of Emily in Paris season two!
