Yes, you read that right, EastEnders actor Danny Dyer has dressed as Posh Spice! In the photo revealed by the BBC, the actor, along with Kellie Bright, Luisa Bradshaw-White and Linda Henry, can be seen dressed as Posh, Ginger, Baby and Scary Spice. Tweeting the photo, the BBC said, 'People of Walford, Spice up your life! Every Mick, every Shirl, Spice up your life! You'll Wannabe there when this episode airs later in the year. ✌️#EastEnders #SpiceGirl'.
And of course it wasn't long before the fantastic photo attracted the attention of Spice Girls and EastEnders' fans alike. One tweeted, 'Shirley as Scary Spice!🤣🤣', with another commenting with a series of emojis, '😱😱😱😱😱😍😍😍😍😍'.
In the episode which is due to be aired later in the year, Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) wins tickets to see the popular girl group for his wife Linda, who decides to go all out dressed as the girls with her friends, however, it seems that Mick isn't quite as enthusiastic as his wife and her friends.
Sadly in the recreation of the 'Wannabe' group Mel C's Sporty Spice is nowhere to be seen.
Meanwhile, the actual Spice Girls are going on tour very soon, and with it they have just announced some new merchandise, including Little Miss books. That's right, ahead of their Spice World 2019 tour, Little Miss Ginger, Little Miss Scary, Little Miss Baby and Little Miss Sporty will be released, and we can't wait to get our hands on them!
