Last updated 28th Oct 2025
Ever since it was rebooted back in 2023, quiz show Deal or No Deal has become one of the most popular shows on TV, with Stephen Mulhern at the helm!
Following the first bunch of episodes from series two airing earlier this year, the show returned with new episodes on Monday 27th October. Here's everything you need to know about the show, and how to apply for future series.
When is Deal or No Deal back on TV?
New episodes of Deal or No Deal started on Monday 27th October 2025.
What time is it on?
The show airs at 4pm every weekday.
What channel is it on?
The rebooted series of Deal or No Deal airs on ITV and STV. Episodes are now available on ITVX and the STV Player.
Who hosts Deal or No Deal?
It was announced in early 2023 that Stephen Mulhern would host the show, after he recorded two pilot episodes in December 2022.
Speaking about the rebooted show, Stephen said: "Wow what an opportunity, I’m beyond excited to be hosting the brand-new series. I’ve always been such a huge fan of the show, so much so, I’ve been practising at home with small cereal boxes!
"It looks so simple but it's an incredibly compelling game for both those playing and the viewers watching at home. It’s one of the greatest shows of all time and to be the new host is an honour! I can’t wait to get started."
Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment commissioning at ITV added: "Deal or No Deal is such an iconic format and we are delighted that it will be joining the ITV family. Stephen's infectious warmth and wit mixed with his natural rapport with members of the public is the perfect combination for this much-loved TV series."
Will there be third series?
Yes, there's going to be a third series, with applications now open.
How do I apply for Deal or No Deal?
Applications for series three of Deal or No Deal are now open, with fans being urged to apply online.
Applications are due to close at midnight on Friday 21st November 2025.
How are the boxes allocated?
The contestants are allocated their boxes at random. In a video shared to Stephen Mulhern's Instagram page, he reveals that the contestants are asked to choose a ball out of a bag. All of the balls have a number on them, which correlate to a box, so you would be given the box with the number that you have chosen at random.
