The new series of Celebrity Big Brother is about to finish, with the series finale airing tonight (10th September). True to its theme of Eye of the Storm, it's been another dramatic series with Natalie Nunn causing arguments with EVERYONE, Rodrigo Alves (Human Ken Doll) being removed for 'inappropriate' behaviour, and Roxanne Pallett accusing Ryan Thomas of 'punching her'.
What is the theme for Celebrity Big Brother 2018?
Channel 5 confirmed the theme for this year's summer series of Celebrity Big Brother is ‘Eye of the Storm’. In a statement released by the TV channel they said, 'All of the celebrity names entering the house will have been caught up in their own media storm. And now, the celebrities are once again putting themselves in the public eye and this time they have a lot to prove.'

This series' Celebrity Big Brother eye was revealed on 18th July. The colourful eye logo is on a background which looks like dark storm clouds, which is in keeping with the theme for this series - 'Eye Of The Storm'.

When does Celebrity Big Brother 2018 start?
On 1st August, Channel 5 confirmed the start date for Celebrity Big Brother 2018 in a tweet. The tweet said, '⚠️ SEVERE WEATHER WARNING! We know it usually rains on Launch Night, but you’ll need more than a brolly for this storm! #CBB kicks off on 16th August, 9pm on @channel5_tv 🎉👁️⛈'.
This is a day earlier than the previously rumoured start date of the 17th August.

Who is presenting Celebrity Big Brother 2018?
The summer edition of Celebrity Big Brother is presented once again by Emma Willis. Rylan Clark-Neal has also returned to present Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On the Side, joined by a number of celebrity panellists.
Emma has been presenting Celebrity Big Brother since June 2013, when she took over Brian Dowling, who had presented the show for two years. Brian took over from the show's original presenter, Davina McCall, who had presented it since the beginning, way back in 2000!
Has Celebrity Big Brother been cancelled?
Rumours that Celebrity Big Brother will be cancelled have been around for a while, last summer comments from Channel 5 boss, Ben Frow, sparked rumours after he admitted he would like to see the show scrapped, saying, "I would be much happier if the channel did not have Big Brother on it."
Then, following the most recent series of Celebrity Big Brother in January 2018, rumours began to circulate again after the viewing figures seemed to decline. However, at the time, according to iNews, a spokesperson for Channel 5 confirmed two more series would be aired this year, but they did not comment on the show’s future after 2018.
Once again, in recent weeks the rumours have started again and a spokesperson told Digital Spy, "The situation remains unchanged. Big Brother is currently contracted until the end of the year, there's no update on future series beyond 2018."
Who won Celebrity Big Brother's 2018 winter edition?
Back in January 2018, Shane Jenek was crowned the winner on the winter series of the show. The drag queen known as Courtney Act managed to get the top spot in the Celebrity Big Brother final, beating runner up Ann Widdecombe in the 'Woman of the Year' themed series.
Speaking about his win, he told Emma Willis, "It's slightly ironic. It's amazing to think that the public have chosen me. My inspiration for coming into the house was that teenage boy who didn't quite know where he belonged or how he fit in and feeling inspired by the Spice Girls. Not knowing what that meant but knowing it was okay to be different too. I guess winning was about validation that it is okay to be different."
When was Celebrity Big Brother first shown on TV?
Celebrity Big Brother first hit our TV screens on Channel 4, way back in March 2001, as a spin-off from the popular reality TV show Big Brother. The first winner of the very short, eight-day series of Celebrity Big Brother, was stand-up comedian Jack Dee. After a successful first series the show returned in November 2002 when Take That's Mark Owen was crowned the winner.
Celebrity Big Brother then took a break for a couple of years before returning for a longer 18-day series in January 2005. Celebrity Big Brother continued every year, except 2008, until 2010 on Channel 4; before moving to Channel 5 in 2011 and airing twice a year in the summer and winter.
Past winners from the series include, Mark Owen, Alex Reid, Rylan Clark-Neal, Katie Price, Charlotte Crosby and former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding - who won in the summer of 2017.
