Breaking Bad fans were sent into a frenzy when it was revealed back in April that show stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will feature in the upcoming final season of Better Call Saul, reprising their infamous roles of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. And now, Bryan has opened up about what we can expect from his upcoming cameo!

While chatting on SiriusXM's Basic! podcast, Bryan revealed that he and Aaron will be appearing in a total of three scenes in the popular spin-off show, saying: "There's a scene that Aaron is in without me. And there's a scene where I'm in without him. And then there's a scene where we're both in."

Exciting fans further, Bryan then continued: "So there's three scenes to come. It's pretty cool."

Despite the star revealing how many scenes they are in, he then went on to admit he is unsure on which episodes they will be featured in, explaining: "But to be honest with you – because we shot everything in a bubble and completely out of sequence – I don't even know what episodes we're in. You're gonna find out."

Breaking Bad took the world by storm when it aired from 2008 to 2013, and the spin-off show Better Call Saul has been keeping fans entertained since, with show star Bob Odenkirk starring as Jimmy McGill (a young Saul Goodman). Explaining how the upcoming huge cameos came about, Bryan said: "It was the time that Aaron and I both happened to be available.

"So they flew us in privately into Albuquerque, went to a private area of the airport, and as soon as we got off the plane, there was an SUV waiting for us at the steps.

"So the last step onto the tarmac was two steps and then into the car. We were completely cloaked… It's very Breaking Bad. It was exciting because no one knew, or could know, that we were in town."

Aaron Paul, who plays the lovable Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, also previously spoke about their cameos, telling The Hollywood Reporter: "To be honest, I'm such a fan of Better Call Saul that I just didn't initially see how they were going to do it.

"But of course, leave it to creators Vince and Peter and the rest of the writers to come up with the perfect way. It's fun. I think people are going to be excited."

Set before lawyer Jimmy McGill meets Walt and Jesse, Better Call Saul follows his morally questionable antics and his journey to taking on the alias Saul Goodman, as he goes by in Breaking Bad.

After the prequel show's co-creator Paul Gould revealed the exciting news about Bryan and Aaron's cameos at PaleyFest LA, it was confirmed on the official Instagram page for the show. On 10th April, a photo was shared of the two iconic characters with the caption: 'They're coming back'.

Paul spoke about the characters' return, saying: "I don't want to spoil things for the audience, but I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, 'Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?'

"Instead of evading, I'll just say 'yeah'. How or the circumstances or anything, you'll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that's one of many things that I think you'll discover this season."

It's unclear yet whether the scenes with Walt and Jesse will tie in with Saul's first appearance in Breaking Bad, or whether it will offer another perspective on those events. However, co-creator Vince Gilligan commented: "These two worlds crossover in a way that you haven't seen before".
