The Weeknd drops ‘MANIA’ film and it’s giving us all the feels

The 12 minute film features songs from the singer's forthcoming album 'Starboy'.

The Weeknd has dropped his short film ‘MANIA’, the 12 minute film features songs from the singer’s forthcoming album ‘Starboy’, and it’s got us counting down the hours till the album drops.

The film was directed by ‘Starboy’ video director Grant Singer, and it features the dark atmospheric visuals which are fast becoming The Weeknd’s trademark.

‘MANIA’ opens with the black panther from the ‘Starboy’ video sitting in a bare white room, before The Weeknd drives round singing new track ‘Sidewalks’ featuring Kendrick Lamar. The singer then arrives at a club and gets closes to model Anais Mali, but things get bloody in the bathroom. The closing credits show The Weeknd dancing around to his Daft Punk collab ‘I Feel It Coming’.

‘Starboy’, the album, lands tomorrow (25th November 2016).
