After a couple years break Scottish singer Emeli Sandé is back.
The 29-year-old singer has recently teased her new single 'Hurts' across social media along with a 17 second video.
Her press release describes the new single as "an uplifting ballad brimming with heart and soul", but it's difficult to say if it is with such a short snippet. Although the song has been produced and co-written by Mac & Phil Miguel, Naughty Boy which is pretty exciting.
In an interview Emeli said, “I wanted to release ‘Hurts' first because it felt like everything I’d avoided saying for so long.
Continuing, “It’s a real explosion. It’s everything I wish I’d said years and years ago. I didn’t want to hold anything back anymore.”
It's been four years since the singer's number one album 'Our Version Of Events' which became the biggest selling album on 2012 and spawned 'Heaven', 'Next To Me' and 'Read All About It, Pt. III'.
