Adele has performed her epic number one song ‘Hello’ live for the first time – and, as expected, it didn’t disappoint.

Accompanied by a band and backup singers, Adele truly stole the show at the NRJ Awards in Cannes, France on Saturday night (7th November) with her poignant and powerful rendition.

In fact, it was so good it reminded us of her legendary ‘Someone Like You’ rendition at the 2011 BRIT Awards!

Since its release late last month, ‘Hello’ has stormed straight in at number one in over 30 countries – including the UK and US - and has obliterated several sales records in the process.

Such is Adele’s prowess in America, ‘Hello’ scored the biggest sales week (1.11 million) since Elton John’s Princess Diana tribute ‘Candle In The Wind’ in 1997.

Adele’s fervently awaited third studio album ‘25’ is finally released on 20th November. Really it can’t come soon enough!
