Our second Number 1 of the year, is Bruno Mars' 'I Just Might'. The song comes from his upcoming album 'The Romantic', which he will be touring later this year, including six dates in London.
25th January - Bruno Mars - 'I Just Might'
Bruno Mars tops the Hits UK Chart for the second week in a row with his song 'I Just Might'.
1st February - Harry Styles - 'Aperture'
After just two weeks at the top, Bruno Mars was knocked off the top by Harry Styles with his latest song 'Aperture'. The song comes from his upcoming, highly-anticipated album 'Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.'
8th February - Bruno Mars - 'I Just Might'
Harry Styles lasted just one week at Number 1 on the Hits UK Chart, meaning Bruno Mars reclaimed the top spot after just a week away. Harry dropped to Number 5, while RAYE continued to stay in the Top 5 with 'Where Is My Husband?' at Number 2 and K-pop Demon Hunters with 'Golden' at Number 3.
15th February - Taylor Swift - 'Opalite'
Following the highly-anticipated release of the music video for her song 'Opalite', Taylor Swift knocks Bruno Mars off the Number 1 spot.
22nd February - Bruno Mars - 'I Just Might'
There's been a lot of change at Number 1 on the Hits UK Chart this year. After just one week at Number 1 for Taylor Swift's 'Opalite', she's dropped to Number 2 with Bruno Mars reclaiming his Number 1 spot with 'I Just Might'.
1st March - Bruno Mars - 'I Just Might'
It's another week at the top for Bruno Mars with his song 'I Just Might'. BRITs performers HUNTR/X and RAYE returned to Number 2 and 3 with 'Golden' and 'Where Is My Husband!' at Numbers 2 and 3 respectively.
8th March - Alex Warren - 'Ordinary'
Following his performance at The BRIT Awards 2026 with Mastercard, Alex Warren's 2025 hit 'Ordinary' has returned to Number 1 in the Hits UK chart show.
15th March - Bruno Mars - 'I Just Might'
Bruno Mars has regained the top spot after a short time away, with his song 'I Just Might'. Bruno first went to Number 1 with this song back in January, before returning to the top in February and again in March.
22nd March - Sam Fender and Olivia Dean - 'Rein Me In'
Following their success at The BRIT Awards, where 'Rein Me In' won Song of the Year with Mastercard, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean's song is now at Number 1 on the Hits UK Chart.
29th March - Bruno Mars
Bruno Mars has regained the top spot again, after a week away, with his song 'I Just Might'. Bruno first went to Number 1 with this song back in January, before returning to the top in February. This week is the third time in March he has been Number 1.
5th April - Sam Fender and Olivia Dean - 'Rein Me In'
Sam Fender and Olivia Dean's 'Rein Me In' returned to the Number 1 spot after a week away.
12th April - Sam Fender and Olivia Dean - 'Rein Me In'
It's another week at the top for Sam Fender and Olivia Dean's 'Rein Me In'. The pair released the song back in June 2025, but that hasn't stopped their song returning to the top.
19th April - Alex Warren - 'Ordinary'
It's been more than a month since Alex Warren's 'Ordinary' was last at Number 1 on the Hits UK Chart, but the song, which was originally released more than a year ago, continues to be a hit with fans, sending it back to Number 1 again!
26th April - Olivia Rodrigo - 'drop dead'
Olivia Rodrigo's song 'drop dead', from her upcoming album 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love', took the top spot for the first time on 26th April 2026. The song was ahead of TWO Alex Warren songs, this year's 'Fever Dream', and last year's hit 'Ordinary'.
3rd May - Alex Warren - 'Fever Dream'
Alex Warren has been to Number 1 recently with his song 'Ordinary', but this week we have a brand new Number 1 from Alex in the shape of 'Fever Dream'!
10th May - Alex Warren - 'Ordinary'
It's another week at Number 1 on the Hits UK Chart for Alex Warren, but this time it's his breakthrough song 'Ordinary', which has returned to the top spot after a few weeks away.

21st June - Taylor Swift - 'I Knew It I Knew You'
It's another week at Number 1 for Taylor Swift's 'I Knew It I Knew You', over the opening weekend of Toy Story 5, which her latest song features in.
28th June - Taylor Swift - 'I Knew It I Knew You'
Taylor Swift stays at Number 1 for a third week on the Hits UK Chart. Taylor opened up about writing the song 'I Knew It I Knew You' on Instagram saying: "I got so inspired (after watching the film), I got songwriter zoomies, got home, wrote the end credit song for Toy Story 5!" Before going on to explain how just hours later the song was written and recorded. Later that day she played it for Bob Iger (Disney) and Tom MacDougall (Pixar).
5th July - Taylor Swift - 'I Knew It I Knew You'
In the week that Taylor tied the knot with Travis Kelce, the singer also topped the Hits UK chart once again with the Toy Story 5 song I Knew It I Knew You'.
